Trifacta Appoints Experienced Analytics and Technology Leader Paul Roberts as Vice President of EMEA to Meet Growing Demand for Data Preparation in the Region
Paul brings over 20 years of experience in leadership and operational management in both startups and large enterprises to Trifacta
LONDON, March 4, 2019 – Trifacta Inc., the global leader in data preparation, today announced the appointment of Paul Roberts as Vice President of EMEA at the Gartner Data and Analytics Summit, effective immediately. Paul will be responsible for continuing to grow Trifacta’s customers across the region, which already includes international enterprises across life sciences, financial services, and technology such as GlaxoSmithKline, Deutsche Börse, Google and Commerzbank.
This appointment comes after an impressive period of growth for Trifacta globally, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth of over 85 percent in the past fiscal year. As the only data preparation offering that supports all the major cloud vendors, Trifacta saw massive adoption with more than 2X growth in the number of customers and cloud-based revenue across Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure in the past fiscal year.
Paul will lead the EMEA team in driving customer acquisition and adoption as the data preparation market continues to mature. He joins Trifacta with over two decades of experience overseeing business development strategies and nurturing client relationships. Prior to this role, Paul held senior leadership positions at SAP, MicroStrategy and Cognos. He also holds a Bachelors in Business Studies and Management from Auckland University of Technology.
