As the business lead for Trifacta’s operations in Europe, I am excited to officially announce Trifacta’s expansion into the region with offices in London and Berlin. Although today marks our official launch in the region, our team has been extremely active over the past year working with European customers and partners. The enormous success we have had working with marquee European businesses such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Sanofi and Orange has led to our rapid expansion into the region and an aggressive plan for growth in Europe. Having spent the majority of my career at high-growth tech startups, I can personally attest to the unique opportunity we have in front of us at Trifacta. The combination of Trifacta’s breakthrough technology, top technical & business talent and the market opportunity that lies ahead of us is very rare. I have been very pleasantly surprised by how pervasive the need for more efficient and intuitive data wrangling is across organizations in practically every industry.
Europe’s largest and most innovative companies are investing in big data and analytics. As they do, they’re realizing the key to driving value from these investments is to enable their business and analysts with the tools to make use of that data simply and quickly. This is exactly the challenge Trifacta Wrangler Enterprise is designed to address. We’re seeing an immense amount of inbound interest from both enterprises experienced with Hadoop and from those that are just kicking off their big data journey.
The support we have seen from Hadoop distributor partners such as Cloudera has been tremendous here in Europe and across the globe. They are quick to recognize the value Trifacta brings to organizations investing in Hadoop and building business solutions on top of the platform. Our collaboration in today’s Cloudera Session event in London is a prime example of how pairing Cloudera and Trifacta can help organizations solve difficult challenges such as Insider Fraud Detection common to the financial services industry.
