Exciting things are afoot at Trifacta

July 16, 2015

Ever question whether or not DATA can be exciting? At Trifacta, we live and breathe data every day. And yes, we think it is very exciting. And while data is exciting, our pursuit of radically simplifying the way people work with data, is even more so.

In our collective pursuit, there are many exciting things happening in the world of Trifacta and our partners.

On Monday, Trifacta’s co-founder Jeffrey Heer and the team at the University of Washington Interactive Data Lab launched Vega 2.0, the next iteration of the open source visualization initiative.

On Tuesday, we opened the new Trifacta office in Berlin for our growing team, supporting our growing number of European and International customers. Learn more about the office and our Berlin-based job opportunities by reading Lars Grammel’s blog; and, if you prefer San Francisco or Boston, check out the many other opportunities to join an incredible team of dedicated people working to transform the way the world works with data.

On Wednesday, we announced our new partnership with Microsoft, joining the new HDInsight ISV Partner Program, bringing the leading data wrangling solution for big data to Microsoft Azure cloud users, enabling them to easily transform and enrich raw, complex data into clean and structured formats for the purpose of exploratory analytics.

Well, what about the rest of the week? We are getting ready for two great events, on opposite coasts, both providing opportunities to hear from some of the great minds in data, our very own co-founders Jeffrey Heer and Joe Hellerstein, as well as Cloudera’s co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Mike Olson.

If you will be on the west coast, we hope to see you at Data Science Summit & Datto Conference 2015 in San Francisco, July 20-21. Stop by our booth and learn how Trifacta’s data wrangling solution enables exploratory analytics. And be sure not to miss the Machine Learning Innovations session presented by Jeffrey Heer on Visualization for Discovery.

And if you are on the east coast, we look forward to having you join us at Cloudera Sessions in New York to learn how Trifacta speeds the time to analytic value on Hadoop implementations by delivering agile exploration of all forms of data stored in Cloudera’s Distribution of Apache Hadoop (CDH).

AND, make sure you don’t go home early, as you will certainly want to join us at the Gansevoort Hotel Park Avenue Penthouse for an engaging evening discussion, featuring Joe Hellerstein and our special guest, Cloudera’s Mike Olson, and moderated by DataKind Founder and Executive Director, Jake Porway, on the topic of the evolving world of data & analytics. Following the discussion you will have the opportunity to networking over drinks and appetizers while admiring the Manhattan skyline.

Back to the pursuit.
