Trifacta is looking for a talented and senior product leader to help change the way people work with data. We are a small and dedicated team working on a challenging and interesting problem in the Enterprise data space.
Trifacta is the leader in the industry and has a strong user experience centric product ethos. Through core product ownership, this role provides you with a great opportunity to define strategy and execute the delivery of product solutions that delight users.


Responsibilities:

As a senior leader of the product management team reporting into the VP of Product & Design, you will be owning and driving significant core product functional areas for the end users, including but not limited to: authoring of data transformation logic; sharing and collaboration between users; and using machine learning to automate / enhance user productivity. You will be driving product requirements and prioritization based on multiple channels of input - collaborating and working very closely inbound with design and engineering and outbound with sales and marketing teams.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of end user product management experience in the software industry working on complex Ux challenges, ideally in one of the Enterprise / B2B cloud data management domains (e.g. business intelligence & reporting, analytics, data science, data integration etc.)

  • Strong experience with user focused product offerings and experience in working very closely with UX and UI development teams

  • Deep understanding of user validation techniques surrounding qualitative, quantitative and competitive data

  • Exposure to system and programming language design, especially in a data domain context

  • Experience working at an early stage software company or taking brand new product offerings to market

  • Willing to be player / coach, contributing as a senior individual contributor, but also experience with leading and managing junior/intern PMs

  • Comfortable cutting through ambiguity, lack of perfect information and getting to decisions

  • Strong understanding and experience with agile and cloud project management and software development process patterns 



Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar technical discipline

  • Deep exposure to UX and design methodologies and processes

  • Knowledge and exposure to data preparation, transformation and analysis tools and solutions

  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a huge plus

  • Flexibility working, communicating, and collaborating with remote offices, teams, and individuals distributed across time zones and geographies

  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
