Product Manager
Location: Remote (US)

Trifacta is looking for a talented Product Manager to help change the way people work with data. We are a small and dedicated team working on a challenging and interesting problem in the data space. In this role, our flat organizational structure and collaborative culture provide you with a significant opportunity to contribute to core product requirements and strategy.

Our biggest growth area is our product-led SaaS business, where users get to try the product for free before purchasing a subscription, and then over time grow usage and also invite others to leverage it for more use cases. For Trifacta to successfully scale this strategy, we need to make our product easy and intuitive to use for all kinds of users and use cases. set the right business model for our products so that it aligns with how our customers like to purchase and get value from the product while also ensuring our business achieves predictable revenue growth.

In this role, you will:
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer pain points
• Remove areas of friction in our product that results in a sub-optimal experience for users. You’ll be critical to users having a great first experience during trial and getting to value quickly
• Work closely with Design, UX, Engineering, and Data teams to define what causes users to get activated, convert to paying users, or go dormant and churn.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for Trifacta’s newly formed Growth team and influence both our self-serve and sales-led business

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of product management experience, ideally working at an early-mid stage startup or taking brand new product offerings to market
• Experience building user focused products with a heavy design and user interface component
• Ability to collaborate closely with UX and design team members in carrying out user research
• Strong exposure to or interest in SaaS products in the data science, analytics, or machine learning space
• Experience driving product requirements and prioritization based on customer input, as well as feedback from sales and marketing

Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, social sciences, business, or a related discipline
• Working knowledge of data visualization tools or product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude) and basic SQL queries
• Crisp communications skills. Can deliver compelling presentations and meticulous writeups
